Flat Stanley's Big Day Out
Our nephew sent us Flat Stanley and we took him for a tour of Tirana.
This is a retail corner in progress.
This is Flat Stanley and the main mosque in town. It wasn't prayer time, so Stanley didn't get to go in and check out the chicks.
Flat Stanley was very excited to see Albania's national hero, Skenderbeg. Note the government building behind it (they're some of the only ones in town that are maintained).

I wish we would have sent you AJ's Flat Stanley--it would have had a much more exciting time (as well as grimy and dirty) than being sent to suburban California to be lost in the abyss of sunshine and orange trees. We have not heard from him since and AJ is getting worried.
