The Trout Farm

The Trout Farm

We went to the trout farm today to do some serious fishing. After I baited the hook with live worms (yes -- baiting hooks with live worms....just as you taught me, Mark) and dipping the line in the water, a rainbow trout is guaranteed to bite within fifteen minutes. You pay for your fish depending on its weight, then they clean it, chop it up, and fry it up right there for you to eat. We skipped the fry it up part. We like our fish sans bones. We opted to take the fish home where we will have to try and fillet it with the one and only pathetic knife we have in our kitchen.
